SEATTLE COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT AND SELF-HELP AUTHOR LAUNCHES
FREE E-ZINE CALLED “LIVING AWARENESS”

Monthly E-zine Kick Starts Awareness With Tips, Articles and Links That Inspire
More Successful and Satisfying Daily Living

SEATTLE, Washington, August 2006 – Seattle self-help author and communications expert Melissa Wadsworth has launched a free monthly e-zine called Living Awareness. Chock full of tips, interviews, articles, creative exercises, inspirational quotes and insightful links, Living Awareness was created to remind readers that: What you notice matters! Each issue reviews the dynamic benefits of living highly aware – benefits like dramatic clarity, enhanced focus and productivity, greater appreciation and more effective people connections.

“The busyness and multi-tasking of modern living makes it easy to operate on auto-pilot or to get stuck in limiting habits. It takes an enlivened sense of curiosity and commitment not to miss all the gifts and opportunities that come our way each day. My goal in creating Living Awareness is to help people to feel more playful and satisfied with daily life. Building awareness isn't another task to be added to your to-do list. It's all about feeling more joy and seeing more opportunities for success," stated Wadsworth.

Living Awareness reinforces the importance of intentional living via fun and fresh ideas, conversations and tools (such as photography) for attaining personal insight and for gaining clarity about one’s life path.

The inaugural issue of Living Awareness features an interview with JT Chandler, www.jtchandler.com, an expert on “The Law of Attraction.” This law states what you believe and what you feel creates your reality. Name your goal, really believe you’ll get the results you desire and the universe works to make it happen.

Sign up for Living Awareness by going to www.melissawadsworth.com and receive a free special report: “Seven Steps to Self-Empowerment.”

Melissa Wadsworth is the author of the self-help book Small Talk Savvy (available exclusively at Borders bookstores). A public relations professional for twenty years, she is also the owner of Wadsworth Communications, specializing in marketing writing and public relations coaching.

Tongue-tied At Work? Socially Ill-At-Ease?

Small Talk Savvy Offers Engaging Tips and Strategies For Personal and Business Interactions That Sing

SEATTLE, August 2005 -- Be tongue-tied no longer! Small Talk Savvy (Adams Media, Boston), a self-help book by communications expert Melissa Wadsworth offers practical and fun tips for stimulating conversation with just about anyone. Small Talk Savvy is a smart and highly accessible book full of helpful strategies and tips for facing social and business interactions with more ease, self-assurance and enjoyment. The paperback book is exclusively available at Borders bookstores nationwide.

Small Talk Savvy takes a friendly tone to discuss successful tips for small talk in the social scene (clubs, bars and parties), in intimate gatherings (dating and dinner parties) and for enhanced day-to-day connections with neighbors and shopkeepers. Body language basics, self-evaluation tools, dos and don'ts, conversation prompts, and progress checklists help make this an enjoyable read and easy to use reference book. Small Talk Savvy also has a smart business side -- providing tips for initiating effective interactions in the workplace with bosses, clients and co-workers. In addition, it examines the successful communication components of typical business events like networking and trade shows. With something to offer both social novices and more experienced communicators looking for an edge, the book balances practical information with entertaining real world stories.

Melissa Wadsworth is a twenty-year public relations professional and the owner of Wadsworth Communications. In Small Talk Savvy she draws upon her professional communications expertise, and lightheartedly references her experiences as a city-living single on both the east and west coasts. She is currently putting the finishing touches on another personal growth non-fiction book entitled Picturing Your World, and a photograhic gift book. Wadsworth lives in Seattle.
