Last evening I attended a networking event with a difference.
The Contribution Networking Party, established here in Seattle by millionaire real estate developer, investor and coach Thach Nguyen, is all about giving before you receive. As he says, “the level of your success is directly dependent on the number of people that you serve.”
Nguyen was coached to his success by author and inspirational speaker Matthew Perry. Perry has a wonderful goal of creating a two-hour PBS special that helps people around the world turn fear into inspiration. What a magical universe that would be! So if you are or know of a person or organization that wants to invest in a fabulous project that’s certain to maximize your return in terms of reach and profitability…contact Matthew. You couldn’t be allied with any better intentioned project or a more make-it-happen person.
I love the magic that happens when a gathering of big hearted people come together in the hopes of truly connecting and learning about others. Last evening I met a radiant woman named Carolyn Murphy Brown who specializes in skin care education. She had an amazing energy and smile and a desire to authentically connect. Cheryl Garrison has an impressive record of success with her home warranty business. Who knew you could warrant your home for the things that are bound to go wrong?
Then there was the brilliant organizer Laura Ko who asked me if I was a spirit coach. Of course that little angel whisper got me to thinking about both how my energy translates to others. I like that title..hmmmm.
Mary West of The Snow Group was a sparkle in the evening, too. I’m going to have to check out her networking group in Paulsbo.
The Contribution Networking Party has it’s big spring event on Saturday, April 25th. If you’re in the Seattle area, it’s really a not-to-be-missed event for anyone who wants to meet some of the most dynamic people in the northwest.
