A historic event took place last evening: Barak Obama was elected President of the United States. This morning I’m happily wondering how many law of attraction and positive minded people focused on manifesting this result?

I for one was tired of the fear strategies of the last few elections. Four years ago, I, too, had bought into the fear that surrounded the last elections: fear of what would happen if Bush was be elected, fear of hanky-panky with the electronic voting machines, fear of other people’s fears…fear…fear…UGH!

So this year I did something different. I put a picture of Barak Obama on my refrigerator with the caption “And the winner is…” Each time I walked by that picture (my one-picture vision board) I paused to visualize Barak being sworn in as President. I let my emotions swell in expanded happiness.

Each time a negative political ad came on television I changed the channel… and changed the channel… and changed the channel. Each time I did that I was consciously acting for a more positive state of mind and for a result based on hope and empowerment rather than fear.

The day of the election I was speaking with a friend who said that she had read of someone who went even further with their visualization of Barak Obama. This person envisioned him as a post- Presidency as an elder statesman who others came to for guidance and advice many years from now.

My friend, who runs an energy healing school, reported that she actually felt a positive energy shift in the general public a few days prior. We were excited about the news we anticipated hearing that evening.

Today I feel wonderfully connected to all of you who remained positive during this long political process, who used their understanding of the law of attraction to build energetic support for positive change, and who kept love as their guiding intention. We are all indeed blessed to be living in such an amazing time in which anything is possible!!
