Manifesting Wisdom: Listen to What Your Body Tells You

Steve Sisgold believes that “life is not meant to be an out of body experience!” This means that living aware includes checking in with your body for the immense “library” of information that it holds.

Who goes to Sisgold for help getting mentally or emotionally unblocked and tuned in to the source of various physical ailments? Authors, rock stars, business owners, and everyday seekers for answers.
Recall the beginnings of body awareness
Sisgold was born following the death of a baby brother. At one month old he, too, nearly died. And when he recovered he became known as “the little miracle.” He didn’t understand why he was a miracle but he was infused with the knowledge of his miracle status.
This would surface when he was 12-years old and his hard-working father announced that he wanted to open a grocery store. His mother reacted with some alarm to this news, indicating that she wasn’t so sure he should relinquish the regular paychecks and the stability of his current job. As Sisgold tells it: “I remember having this strong bodily feeling and feeling the need to let it out! I finally announced, ‘Daddy can do it, he’s a miracle like me!’ My mother was surprised and said ‘Well, OK.’ My Father did open the store and was a success.”
Express what your body is telling you
Even at this early age, Sisgold instinctively knew to listen to his body and to express what it was telling him. “I learned that when I do, something different can happen,” he said.
Then at 30, his instincts delivered another big hit – his life purpose. Having just moved from Florida to San Francisco he was sitting in the Embarcadero Center wondering what he was doing there when he had an epiphany. His intuition told him: “You have a purpose and it’s to teach all that you’ve been feeling inside.”
If you’re wondering how you, too, can get such a neatly delivered life purpose message, take heart. According to Steve, we all can get this kind of life-altering path-directed information if we take the time to stop and listening to our body intelligence.
Having been in sales and advertising, Sisgold could uniquely help people find out what was getting in their way and help them “brand from an inner place,” as he puts it.
Identify the Viral Beliefs Stored as Body Memories
“I must have asked a thousand times, ‘What is your body telling you?’” stated Sisgold. He became the guy who could help you look at your viral beliefs – those old body memories that can lay dormant for years before getting triggered.
Sisgold’s own viral belief was triggered when he launched one of his early books. He was sitting in the green room waiting for a television interview and he started sweating. He thought, “What’s this about? This is my dream!” It was then that he had a body memory of being beat up the first time he left the safety of his neighborhood. The message he got from that experience was that it was unsafe to go out of his “nest.” So becoming more well known and entering a bigger arena triggered the old fear.
Fortunately his instincts led him to breathe though the experience and he was fine on camera. This personal experience makes him adept at helping others work through their own viral beliefs. Like the business owner who couldn’t get his business going because he held the viral belief that “making money will make you sick.”
Get back in touch with your body intelligence
According to Sisgold, we all get indoctrinated not to feel. We say we’re cold and a parent tells us we’re not or to ignore it. As a result, we lose our instincts and get separated from what’s happening in our body.
Steve Sisgold offers tips to help you get back in touch with your body intelligence and I’ll be running these tips in the July Issue of my montly ezine “What You Notice Matters!”
Sisgold, says that like all of us he screws up, he forgets to listen to his body. He tells the story of waking up one morning when he was forty or forty-one and not being happy. “I noticed that I wasn’t getting answers in my head, so I asked my body. Childhood issues of security came up.” Then he got the intuition that he needed to travel to India and that scared him so much it took two trips to the visa office before he actually went in to apply for his travel visa.
Message of the cows
I believe that what you notice matters so I love Steve’s story of how he was in India less than 24 hours when he saw cows walking in a wedding procession and he noted how comfortable they looked in their bodies. So, he decided to just walk, like the cows, with no plan. He found himself entering an alley. His mind told him he should be scared of the wild dogs that could lurk there, but his instincts told him to trust (cow consciousness).
In the alley a man pointed to his scooter and said “Dali Lama.” Sisgold got on the man’s scooter not knowing where he was being taken, but trusting he would be okay. In about 15 minutes they were in a field with 15 monks. In the middle of the monks was the Dali Lama. The Dali Lama says to the group, “Be who you are. Be transparent. Be love.” Sisgold says he realized that’s what he needed to hear, that’s why he needed to come to India.
Follow your gut not what others want you to do
Sisgold states, “I needed to follow my gut, my instincts and not to do what others wanted me to do.” What his instincts have led him to do right now is to be willing to put all his stories and realities in a book and not to hold back.
On July 8th Steve Sisgold’s book: “What Is Your Body Telling You?” launches on Amazon. I highly recommend this for increasing your instincts and intuition. You can go to www.onedream.com for more information prior to the official launch.

This sounds fascinating, and I can’t wait to read it. I would never have found this author on my own. Thanks, Melissa.
